Kizomba & Semba Dance Performances

Semba is a West African dance that originated in Angola in the 1950’s and 60’s and is still popular today. Additionally, the semba dance is the predecessor of zouk and kizomba dance genres. Also, the semba and kizomba dance genres are very similar but danced to different styles of music.  Generally, semba is faster while kizomba is slower, more sensual using electronic percussion.
