Salsa San Diego & Latin Dancing

Pattie Wells' Dancetime Center is home to the best salsa San Diego venue, the Salsa San Diego & Latin Dance jam every 4th Saturday monthly. Salsa dancers from all over San Diego county flock to dance salsa and other Latin dances like merengue, bachata and cha cha. MaryBeth Hughes coordinates, hosts and deejays the Salsa & Latin dancing 1st Saturday venue at the Dancetime Center. She has extensive experience in salsa dancing and has been adjunct faculty in the music and dance departments of many of the San Diego community colleges.

Our Salsa & Latin dancing jam features a great music mix of the hottest Latin favorites plus a dash of the all time best Latin music for salsa, merengue and bachata. The Dancetime Center's Salsa dancing San Diego and Latin dance professionals including Jose Bello, Stephanie Swain, David Nguyen, Brandon Detty and Lucky Pahl whom specialize in salsa but also offer a variety of group dance classes weekly for all Latin dance genres. They have a vast amount of experience including teaching at local Latin Clubs like Cafe Sevilla, competing in national Salsa competitions across the United States and traveling abroad to places like San Pedro to share their knowledge with the dancers abroad. Stephanie Swain competes, teaches and judges Salsa Solo across the country.

Our Salsa San Diego & Latin Dancing parties attract a diverse population of dancers including the next generation of youth, University students to accomplished dancers who have danced the mambo years ago before falling in love with the fabulous rhythms of Latin music for salsa dancing. The salsa dance deejays play an assortment of music including songs from the Dancetime Center's extensive database of salsa dance music... "La Musica Latina Caliente". The Dancetime Center's dance party venue is considered the friendliest place for dancers of all levels of accomplishment from newcomer to professional salsa and Latin dancers. The salsa dance staff brings a fabulous blend of social, performance and competition expertise to this great Salsa & Latin dance venue.
